Korie and Zack's Story

July 10th, 2018 seemed like a normal Tuesday night for me. I got home from work and asked Zack, "What's for dinner?" We didn't have anything prepped so he suggested we rush over to a local restaurant to make it in time for the happy hour menu.

Zack's known for his frugality so his next suggestion while at dinner of going to the movies seemed right on character (Tuesdays are 5$ movie nights and half off at the concessions). I was really excited to see the latest "Incredibles 2" movie, so I hurry up and grabbed our seats while Zack went to get the Popcorn (I don't think he knows you can actually watch a movie without snacking).

When the lights dimmed, I put my phone down and got ready for the movie. Instead of the previews coming up I saw our faces! My heart dropped, and I started looking around for Zack to figure out what was going on, as there is a slide show of us on the screen. As he walks up to me he gets on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I say yes to the man of my dreams. We didn't stay for the movie, but instead went back home, opened a bottle of wine, and called our families to share the news. XOXO
